Assistant Group Supervisors
Assistant Group Supervisors are needed for our School Age Programs. The hours are Monday through Friday 6:30am to 8:45am and 3:00pm to 6:00pm, 2nd Wednesday of each month after school hours are 12:00pm to 6:00pm. Candidates need to have at least two years' experience working with children, have their CDA/SAC Cred or 12 college credits in education, and knowledge about Keystone Stars and DPW is beneficial. Position requires working hands on with children and assisting the Site Director with lesson plans, observations, assessments, and other required paper work for the site. All staff is required and is paid to attend meetings and trainings to meet the guidelines for Keystone Stars and DPW. Site Directors are needed for our Before and After School Programs. The hours are Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. as well as planning time. The second Wednesday of each month After School begins at 12p.m. All staff is required and is paid to attend meetings and trainings to meet the guidelines for Keystone Stars and DPW. The position is part time, about 28-30 hours per week. To qualify for the position candidates must possess a degree in education or a related field with a min of 30 credits in elementary or early childhood education and have a min of 2 years' experience working with children. Knowledge about Keystone Stars and DPW is beneficial. Site Directors are responsible for managing staff on site, planning and implementing daily program activities, abiding by all DPW and Keystone Stars regulations. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills (written and oral) and be a self-starter. Part-time Building Security:
Workers needed for weeknight hours (ranging from 6 to 10:15 p.m.) and Saturday hours (ranging from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Responsibilities include monitoring who enters the building, and ensuring that program areas are left in proper condition. Training is provided. Referees and umpires are needed for Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Flag Football and Dodgeball leagues. Certification is preferred. Understanding of league and sport rules is required. Individuals must be able to control the progress of the sport/activity, look for violations of rules and regulations during play, and impose penalties on teams or players when necessary.
