WADING POOLS & PLAYGROUNDS

Hey kids! Spend your summer having fun with your friends at the playgrounds. The Lancaster Rec playground program offers supervised activities, games, contests and crafts to keep you busy and happy. After lunch, wading pools open so you can cool off from the summer heat. Boys and girls ages 6 to 14 have fun things to do every day, and the best part is, it's free!

2011 Dates: June 20 to August 12; Open 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Buchanan Park - Buchanan and Race Avenues
Farnum Park - Farnum and Water Streets
King Elementary School - S. Duke Street
Reservoir Park - E. Orange and Reservoir Streets
Rodney Park - Third and Crystal Streets
Sixth Ward Park - Hamilton and E. Ross Streets
South End Park* - Beaver and Furnace Streets

*open from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Enjoy a free, nutritious lunch and snack at all playground sites daily. Lunch times vary between 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. depending on the location.
