SENIOR CENTERS

Lancaster Rec operates three senior centers that offer a variety of activities for men and women age 60 and up. Craft activities, movies, fitness classes, cards, games, trips, educational presentations, special events, holiday celebrations and parties are held throughout the year.

Lancaster Rec Senior Center - 525 Fairview Avenue, lower level

  • Open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Membership is free. Visit the Senior Center to fill out a Membership Application.
  • Hot lunch ($ contributions accepted) at 11:30 p.m.
  • Partnership with the Lancaster County Office of Aging
  • Free transportation to and from the Senior Center

Rodney Park Happy Hearts Club Senior Center, Rodney and Crystal Streets

  • Open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Home-cooked lunch ($4 cost) at 12 noon
  • Tuesday - Pinochle (lunch at 11:30 a.m., play at 12 noon)
  • Wednesday - Varied Activities at 1 p.m.
  • Thursday - Bingo (play at 12 noon, lunch at 1:15 p.m.)
