Join Lancaster Rec as we celebrate the fall season with a special, one day, Lancaster Beer Gardens event!

Partnering with Tellus 360, Lancaster Beer Gardens offers beverages in a fenced in area, complete with comfortable seating and yard games. The gardens are family-friendly and pet-friendly, with a goal of bringing residents out to our local parks for community-building and philanthropy. Admission is free and food trucks will be onsite, offering delectable bites to pair with local pours. The event will be held at Conestoga Pines Park and runs 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 5.

Proceeds raised will fund recreation programming, youth sports scholarships and green infrastructure improvements in local parks.

Held in conjunction with this event is ‘Happy Harvest’, an evening dedicated to celebrating the fall season together as a community. Attendees are invited for crafts, games, spooky stories, pumpkin chucking and s’more making. Happy Harvest is a free community event and is family-friendly and pet-friendly. This event is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is BYOP – bring your own pumpkin – to launch.

Lancaster Beer Gardens debuted this past Spring in three Lancaster City Parks – Musser, Reservoir, and Buchanan – and have gained popularity among residents as a way to give back while relaxing in our scenic parks.

Heather Dighe, Executive Director of Lancaster Rec, says, “Imagine visiting the park, enjoying our green spaces in the beer garden and in doing so, helping give a child a scholarship for ballet or helping plant a new tree.” Sponsorships are available for the 2023 Lancaster Beer Gardens season.
